An overview of systematic reviews (OoSRs) is a study designed to synthesize multiple evidence from existing systematic reviews on a specific domain.There is a range of different types of OoSRs:
- overviews of intervention reviews
- overviews of diagnostic test accuracy reviews
- overviews of reviews of prognosis/prevalence
- overviews of reviews of risk factors
- overviews of economic evaluation reviews
- overviews of qualitative reviews
